There are probably other products too. I have a graveyard of unused hair stuff up in my attic. At the time, I was 100% convinced that each one would be THE product to change my life…or, in this case, my hair.

My most recent purchase was a straightening iron. I didn’t splurge on a case because I decided to make one myself. I figured I would make one out of a potholder, because then I could even pack it away while hot.

Basically, this involved two seams—one on the bottom and one on the side, plus a bit of cord to tie the cord, and an iron-on patch.

And that is about as much use as the straightening iron has gotten so far. Oh well, at least it has a nice “casket” for when it ends up in..
